# Overview - Zendesk Support

If you are using Clickatell apps for chat support and Zendesk Support for ticketing, our integration with Zendesk Support will enable you to:

* Access Zendesk Support customer data in the Chat Flow and Chat Desk applications.
* Keep your Zendesk Support data up-to-date by automatically creating new customers in Zendesk Support when they’re captured in Chat Flow and sync data and conversations.
* Create Zendesk tickets from the Chat Flow applications to save time and hassle.
* Say goodbye to switching tabs or searching through multiple applications to get customer context - it's all right at your fingertips!

## Chat Flow Features

You’ll be able to use the following features in Chat Flow:

* Fetch customers' info (including tickets) from Zendesk and use that info while building customer journeys in Chat Flow. For example, build a specific user journey if a customer is tagged as ‘vip\_customer’.
* See the customer's Zendesk tickets, and create a new ticket on Zendesk from Chat Flow. Update a ticket.

## Chat Desk Features

You’ll be able to use the following features in Chat Desk:

* View the customer's Zendesk Support profile details and ticket details while engaging with them in Chat Desk to serve the customer faster and better.

**How do I integrate Zendesk Support with Clickatell?**

* [Add the Zendesk Support integration](/integrations/getting-started/adding-a-new-integration.md) in your Clickatell Portal.
* You'll require information from the Zendesk Support app itself:
  * If you already have an OAuth Client in Zendesk Support for this integration, [follow these steps](/integrations/zendesk-support/find-configuration-details-zendesk-support.md).
  * If you need to create an OAuth Client in Zendesk Support first, [follow these steps.](/integrations/zendesk-support/add-new-oauth-client-zendesk-support.md)

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.clickatell.com/integrations/zendesk-support/overview-zendesk-support.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
